EASI·Interviews® online tool was designed with these three goals in mind.

The professionals of EASI·Consult®, LLC are proud to announce the availability of EASI·Interviews,® a new program that can help you develop customized structured interviews for any management or professional position from the convenience of your own desk and computer.

Underlying the EASI·Interviews® online tool is a research-based approach to job analysis that is carefully aligned with professional and legal guidelines. Using information from a number of industrial and academic sources allowed the development of a competency model containing 24 vital skills. This allows companies to thoroughly and accurately assess the components that are most essential for successful performance in an open job position. This model, called Career·Success·FactorsTM, can be used to evaluate the four general components of job success that are essential for any position.

Using information from the Career·Success·FactorsTM model, companies can take the following steps to create an interview that will be both highly predictive of job performance and legally sound...

  1. First rate the competencies by importance in relation to the open job position.
  2. Then choose the top six to eight competencies based upon these ratings and enter them into a web-page set up for your company.
  3. Technical competencies specific to an open job position can also be entered so that interviewers can assess an applicant's proficiency in specific skills and abilities that are required for successful performance. For example, technical competencies may be as specific as the ability to use certain computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel) or more general, such as, practices or procedures that are regularly utilized on the job (e.g., Negotiation Skills).
  4. Finally, an interview packet is developed and downloaded or e-mailed to your company. The packet contains instructions for the interview, questions developed to assess each of the top competencies, "points to look for" related to each competency, and a structured rating scale for obtaining final scores for job applicants.
